Our story

Back in 1994, Sonia, a jewelry designer by trade, launched a small workshop with her husband, Benjamin ASCHER, a board-certified plastic surgeon. These small meetings between physicians in France expanded in a span of 20 years into a multi-million-dollar international events company called IMCAS (International Master Course on Aging Science) that now gathers over 20,000 participants worldwide each year.  

As CEO, Sonia brought glamour to what could have been a rather dry medical conference. It’s what made her company standout among many competitors in the field: her refined taste and eye for detail, characteristics she wished to delve into further as years went on. So, after selling her events company in 2018, she launched her own brand called Studio Sonia Ascher to pursue her creative side and put her talent to work. 

At Studio Sonia Ascher, Sonia offers her clients a consultation for interior design that goes beyond simple décor. Her methods focus on the ergonomics and flow, how we interact and move about in each room. Her touch pleases the eyes and eases the soul for it brings together beauty and function. Each element in space has a purpose and serves to be more than just decoration. 

And best of all, she shares her gift with clients big and small, so that your well-being isn’t limited to your budget.

Outside of Studio Sonia Ascher, Sonia is a proud grandmother of four grandchildren who divides her time between spending time with her little ones and traveling around for artistic inspiration.
